A test 3D 360×180 panorama photos of the back stair of my office, by KC Lai (@iZugar.com).
I have been making panorama for years and started with 360 video lately. I find the multiple-cam video/oneshot solution was not working well in crowded or compact places, due to the parallax issue. The stereoscopic capture even worsen the problem with increased number of shots needed. I saw a couple of systems trying to do this but they are not available yet and not good for near & fast moving objects, so I made my own prototype. ultimately it will produce 6kx3k stereo video, stay tuned.
The sample photo looks good on my 3DTV, but I do not have a Rift yet. Can some Rift owner help checking it? Thanks.

New to 3D. No rift. Looking with Anaglyph glasses.
The nearest corner to the camera looks like it is coming out of the screen. I believe this is what they call a Window violation.
I now need to check my 3D experiments for this problem too.
I tried with the Rift and the depth effect is pretty good!
Very good alignment and great depth. I'd be very interested in learning more about your prototype. Please can you email me?
pretty useful material, overall I think this is worthy of a bookmark, thanks
I was't able to DL the test file. Can you please post it again?
